EA - Khan BMS Battlefield Management System
Working notes on EA (Electronic Attack): ew mesh context, design trade-offs, and where it fits in the Arban–Tumen hierarchy.
Electronic Attack is the kind of capability you only notice when it is missing. EA sits inside the OODA loop, not next to it — which is exactly why it gets shortchanged in budget cycles.
Definitions first. EA = Electronic Attack. Use of EM energy to degrade, neutralize, or destroy adversary capability. Electronic Attack covers jamming, spoofing, directed-energy, and EM deception used against adversary sensors, communications, and weapons. EA is the offensive subset of EW and is the primary threat that mesh-network design must survive.
EA earns its full keep at the Tumen — ten thousand nodes under a single human Khan. Span of control stays at ten because the hierarchy is fractal; EA state aggregates upward through Minghan and Zuun before it ever reaches the Khan's console.
Done right, EA disappears into the background and the operator is free to think about the fight. That is the bar Khan BMS holds itself to.
