Schiebel Group Platform Family
VTOL
The Schiebel Camcopter S-100 is a medium-range, medium-endurance unmanned aerial system (UAS) designed for both civil and military applications, capable of vertical take-off and landing.
Mission Profile
The Camcopter S-100 is primarily employed for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions. Its VTOL capability allows it to operate from confined areas, including naval vessels without the need for launch and recovery equipment, making it ideal for maritime patrol, anti-piracy operations, and search and rescue. It also supports border surveillance, convoy protection, and critical infrastructure monitoring on land. The system is designed for autonomous operation, reducing operator workload and enhancing mission efficiency in complex environments. Its modular payload bay enables rapid adaptation to various mission requirements, including electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), communications relay, and electronic warfare payloads.
