DO-178C
Software-considerations standard for airborne systems certification.
Definition
DO-178C / ED-12C is the airworthiness standard for airborne software, defining objectives by Design Assurance Level (A through E) and the artifacts (requirements, design, test, traceability) needed to certify safety-critical avionics. Autonomy software on CCA must reconcile DO-178C-style assurance with run-time assurance patterns to bound non-deterministic learned components.
