▎Distributed C2
Cursor-on-Target/ CoT
Lightweight XML message standard for exchanging tactical events.
Definition
Cursor-on-Target is a compact XML message format developed by MITRE and used to exchange tactical events — points, tracks, and orders — among C2 systems. CoT's simplicity is the reason it became the lingua franca of TAK, the F-16 Sniper pod, and many third-party C2 nodes.
