Advanced Battle Management System/ ABMS

Definition

ABMS is the Air Force's contribution to JADC2 and provides the data-transport, identity, and edge-compute layers that allow sensors, command nodes, and shooters to share a common picture in real time. ABMS is implemented through a series of "on-ramp" experiments and contracts and is the institutional home of the cloudONE, deviceONE, and dataONE program lines.
