OMG publish-subscribe middleware standard widely used in defense systems.
Definition
DDS is an OMG-standard publish-subscribe middleware that provides typed topics, QoS-controlled delivery, and decentralized discovery. It is used as the on-platform messaging fabric in many CCA, Aegis, and unmanned systems, and is one of the few middleware standards explicitly named in MOSA and SOSA references.
