Definition
A tactical data fabric is the distributed data plane that connects sensors, decision services, and shooters. It provides discovery, addressing, transport, security, and policy enforcement, and is the substrate every JADC2-aligned C2 service rides on. ABMS dataONE and the Navy's overmatch fabric are reference instances.
