Digital Twin (Autonomy)

High-fidelity simulation paired with the live system for rehearsal and assurance.

Definition

Digital twins for autonomy are physics- and behavior-faithful simulations of CCA platforms used for sim-to-real transfer, mission rehearsal, regression of behavior libraries, and assurance evidence under DO-178C-style processes. They are increasingly the primary integration environment for behavior changes prior to flight.
