Definition
Edge Kubernetes distributions (k3s, MicroK8s, Platform One Big Bang) are increasingly used to deploy C2 microservices onto tactical compute — vehicle racks, command posts, and ruggedized servers. They provide consistent deployment, observability, and rollback semantics from cloud to edge, and are the operational pattern behind Air Force Platform One and Army DevSecOps factories.
