Distributed C2

Sensor Fusion

Combining multi-sensor data into a unified, higher-confidence track picture.

Definition

Sensor fusion combines radar, EO/IR, RF, and other sensor inputs into unified tracks, reducing ambiguity and increasing engagement quality. Fusion runs at multiple echelons — onboard a CCA, across a flight via teaming links, and at theater scale through C2 services — and is the bridge between raw sensing and decision-grade COP entries.
